The Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra presents the 11th year of "the tastiest two hours in Ottumwa". Enjoy the creativity and culinary abilities of 25 of the area's finest Pro and Hobby Chefs as they vie for top spots in pre-dining, entree, and dessert categories. Judges for the event are Chef Adam Darland (IHCC), Chris Hickey and Dar Fish,(multiple 25 Men winners), Mary Kivlahan (IHCC, retired), Nick Dodson (North Hy-Vee) and Kim Hellige (Ottumwa Comm. School). Moving this event to June allows guests to enjoy the food, the competition, and the Silent Auction featuring food related items, all with seating available at tables inside the hall and in the adjacent hallway/lobby. To date, South Ottumwa Savings Bank is the Gold Sponsor for this event, while NOEL insurance, Edward Jones and Indian Hills Community College are Siver Sponsors. Ticket information is available at the Symphony web site noted below. Guests will determine People's Choice with a vote for their favorite chef.
