Run for the Ridge 5K

Back by popular demand, the Run for the Ridge is a 5k race through the Pioneer Ridge Nature Area on September 28 at 9 a.m.

Register in advance by clicking HERE. The cost is $25 per person - make sure to select a t-shirt size at checkout. Register by Noon on September 13 to receive your shirt the day of the event. Those who register after this date can pick up their shirt at the Nature Center or have it mailed for a fee.

Day-of registration begins on Sept. 28 at 8 a.m., and the race starts at 9 a.m. You are welcome to complete the race at your own pace but be prepared to run on pavement, gravel, grass, and dirt. Refreshments and awards will be at the Red Haybarn after the race.

In case of rain, the race will be moved to October 26. After registration is placed a refund will not be given unless Wapello County Conservation cancels both event dates.
