Arts Gala

The Arts Gala 2025, hosted by the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival, is a premier fundraising event celebrating the performing arts in Ottumwa. Scheduled for Thursday, May 29. The evening's festivities include a cocktail pre-party featuring live music by The Dave Sharp Trio, followed by a champagne toast, dinner, and a program with performances by festival artists, including Broadway veteran Andrew Varela. The event is emceed by Jesse Lawrence.

The gala aims to raise funds for theater upgrades at the Bridge View Center and support the American Gothic Performing Arts Festival. Tickets are priced at $125 per person or $1,000 for a table of eight. Reservations are required by noon on May 23, 2025. To reserve, call 641-684-7000. Attendees are encouraged to wear "audacious spring attire."
