As part of the 99 Parks in 99 Weeks highlight by MyCountyParks.com, Wapello County Conservation will be hosting Building Better Birders on Saturday, December 3 from 1:30-7:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Ridge Nature Center.
The workshop is free and open to the public - come for an hour or stay for the whole day!
1:30-3 p.m. Midwestern Raptor Population Trends as Determined by 40 Years of Christmas Bird Count Data
3-3:15 p.m. Bio Break
3:15-4 p.m. Introduction to Nocturnal Raptors of Iowa
5-6 p.m. Dutch Oven Dinner (chili and cornbread dinner provided by WCCB)
6-7:30 p.m. Night Hike Owl Prowl
Registration is not required but preferred if you will be joining them for the Dutch Oven portion of the workshop. Registrations can be made through MyCountyParks.com
