Russ Fry writes books about local historical events. He is also an award-winning documentarian. Fry is the project manager for the Black Hawk Rock historical site. He lives in Burlington with his wife, Beverly, who is originally from Eldon.

Preregistration is encouraged for this FREE event but not required. Click "Find Tickets" on the FB post to go to the site where you will choose your session. Responding via FB does NOT guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome on a first come, first served basis once preregistered guests have been seated. Limit of 20 people per session.
There are two identical presentations: 10:00- 11:15 a.m. and 11:30- 12:45 p.m. When registering, please be aware of the session time to ensure the desired timeslot. In the event there are not enough people registered for each session, there will only be a 10:00 a.m. talk and the carpool will begin at 11:30 a.m. All changes will be communicated via our website, Facebook, and email.
The Center’s museum gallery will be closed to the public until 1:00 PM.
