Join us for this free event from author Linda McCann. Prohibition was the period in U.S. History when it was illegal to manufacture, sell or transport liquor. This includes Iowa. So, why did Iowa farmers begin using their corn to produce alcohol? Linda spoke with the children of moonshiners and bootleggers and shares their memories. She will have specific instances of Ottumwa Prohibition violations as found in old newspapers.
