Gold Out Football- Awareness of Childhood Cancer

iJAG students are leading a gold out game for childhood cancer. They are partnering with the OHS Art Club, Main Street Donuts, and Kiwanis Committee to sell chocolate chip cookies, funnel cakes, face painting, tattoos, all while helping you get some gold swag to show your support for childhood cancer. They are all located very close to the concessions on the home side of the football field. All proceeds will go towards the University of Iowa Hospital, Pediatric Oncology Department to help families with gas and other accrued bills. Before the varsity team starts playing, we will hear from the 3 main OHS iJAG students who have led this project, along with Representative Hans Wilz, Dr. David Dickens the Director of Pediatric Oncology, and Helaina Hillyard. Helaina was diagnosed with leukemia at a young age and will share her journey with us.
