A Southern fairytale from the Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Driving Miss Daisy, The Robber Bridgegroom is loaded with mistaken identities and wacky hi-jinx. The score is played by a small bluegrass band on stage and is one of the only bluegrass scores ever heard in a Broadway musical. Since opening on Broadway in 1975, this has become a favorite with its story theatre style. Book & lyrics by Alfred Uhry & music by Robert Waldman. Dr Jennifer Boyenga & Dr. Ray Slavens, Directors, Dr. Janene Sheldon, David Sharp, and Tom Shadonix, Musical Directors.
