Iowa Deer Night Presented by Wapello County Conservation

As part of the 99 Parks in 99 Weeks highlight by MyCountyParks.com, Wapello County Conservation will be hosting Iowa Deer Night on Monday, November 28 at 6 p.m. at the Pioneer Ridge Nature Center.

Iowa DNR deer specialist Jace Elliot will give a presentation on the current status of the Iowa deer population and how it is being affected by CWD and EWD. The evening will finish with Wapello County Conservation Director Rick Tebbs teaching participants how to score deer using the Boone and Crockett method.

Beverage and Cowboy Stew will be served throughout the evening.
