Job Corps 60th Anniversary

OTTUMWA - Ottumwa Job Corps will welcome graduates, local employers and partners, and community leaders to an open house event on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. "Through this event, we are honoring our current students, alumni and the numerous partnerships that have aided our Job Corps Center in providing all that have passed through our doors with opportunity and the tools for success,” said Lindsay Cale, Ottumwa Job Corps Director. "We’re opening our doors for future employer partners, community leaders, prospective students and anyone who is interested in learning more about the Job Corps program.” This event, which is part of a nationwide initiative, aims to celebrate the accomplishments of current students and alumni, while also connecting them with workforce opportunities.
