Columbia Missouri's Ken Nichols has been dabbling in paining for the past 20 years. The mass-layoffs in early 2020 gave him the push he needed to give art as a full time occupation a try. Now he hustles: providing artwork for several local restaurants, saying "yes" to all commissions, and having the odd group or solo show.
