This beloved outdoor concert will be held this year without conductor/arranger David Sharp but with "A Little Help From His Friends". He has been planning, arranging and conducting this event since 2010, but has been experiencing some major health issues recently and will be unable to take to the podium this time. Well, David Sharp has friends, and lots of them are comfortable with a baton and a group of musicians. Some of them play in the Orchestra, some serve on the board, and they all invite you to join them for this Ottumwa Symphony Orchestra performance of music selected and arranged by David Sharp. Please check the Symphony website for details on who these friends are! Bring a picnic, a favorite beverage, a comfortable chair or blanket and, of course, your friends and family. In case of rain or inclement weather, the event will be held inside the Hellyer Student Life Center. There is no charge for this concert, but we will offer you a chance to contribute by passing the hat!
