NAMI Connection Support Group

NAMI Connection is a support group for people living with mental health concerns. Participants learn from each other’s experiences, share coping strategies, and offer each other encouragement and understanding. For questions or to sign up, please email us at info@namiscia.org. NAMI Connection is free and confidential for any member of the community ages 18 and up. All support groups are peer-led by trained individuals with lived experience. NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization. Through its programs and support groups, NAMI provides advocacy, education, and support for individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI South Central Iowa serves Appanoose, Clarke, Davis, Decatur, Lucas, Mahaska, Marion, Monroe, Ringgold, Wapello, and Wayne counties.
