Self-Defense Workshop Series

This five-week course is a short term, self-defense class for adults (age 16 & up). No previous experience is necessary. Students will practice escaping grabs and holds, striking/kicking, and ground fighting. They will also learn about awareness, prevention, de-escalation, and risk reduction when it comes to personal safety. Instructor Jon Klaus has studied martial arts for more than 40 years. He holds two black belts in Tae Kwon Do and has experience in Hapkido and Jiu-Jitsu. He ran his own martial arts school for 10 years in Davis County and continues conducting self-defense workshops
