Blanchard Hills Wildlife Area

The newest conservation area in the county, Blanchard Hills was donated to Wapello County Conservation by Sandy and Jay Blanchard in 2022. The 43 acre property is located along the Des Moines river and is 11 miles Southeast of Ottumwa and 8 miles Northwest of Eldon on 63rd Ave. It is a great location for hiking and wildlife viewing.
