There are also 15 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails, and a half-mile, paved, handicap-accessible trail.

Wapello County Conservation maintains several parks and wildlife preserves throughout the area including Eddyville Sand Dunes Prairie, Garrison Rock, Gray Eagle Wildlife Preserve, and Rock Bluff Park.
